The Art of Change is an international project
bringing together theatre artists and educators
in 5 different countries to explore new ways of
working with young people. It provides an
opportunity for professional development and the
creation of new theatre practice. The Art of
Change recognises the power of cross-cultural
creative collaboration and of the unique
connections that can be made when theatre artists
and educators are given space and time for
research and development. The project is
identifying key questions that are arising in the
rapidly changing world in which we live, and
creating new forms of practice for working with
and for young people. It aims to explore and
generate ways of sharing and developing practice
cross-culturally, and is impacting on the work of
practitioners based in the UK, USA. Catalonia,
Japan and India and on the many projects they are
involved in across the world.
